WESLACO – The family of Rio Grande Valley man killed in the El Paso shooting filed a lawsuit against Walmart.

The mother of Leo Campos filed the suit Tuesday accusing the retail store of not protecting its customers.

On Wednesday, Walmart responded saying in part “safety is a top priority.”

The attorney hired to handle the case, Jesse Zambrano, says safety is what the lawsuit seeks to ensure.
