The man accused of shooting and killing four family members in San Benito is being arraigned on Monday.

Joel Christian Pacheco Maldonado was arrested Sunday after Cameron County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 32000 block of Road 819 regarding the quadruple homicide.

Sheriff Manuel Treviño said the victims were all found with gunshot wounds. Three victims were found inside the home and the fourth victim was found on the side of the road.

According to the Cameron County inmate list, Maldonado is facing charges of capital murder of multiple persons.
