Raymondville Woman Hopeful for Improvement in Local Job Market
RAYMONDVILLE – A Raymondville woman believes the economy within her local community could be better.
She tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS she has to travel from Raymondville to Harlingen for her part-time job.
KRGV’s Frank McCaffrey spoke with Mayor Gilbert Gonzales to see what is being done to improve the job market.
Gonzales says he is working with a number of businesses to bring them to town.
"I think with that going on and the MTC detention center now open, it's helped. It's helped some,” he says.
