Run-Down Home in Harlingen to be Demolished
HARLINGEN – Residents in a Harlingen neighborhood will finally receive what they’ve been asking for.
A run-down home, which was considered a danger zone by many, will be demolished.
The home is located at 513 W. Monroe in Harlingen.
Last year, the city’s plans to destroy the home were stopped when the former owner refused to leave.
After taking legal action, the city was able to forcibly remove the former owner.
KRGV’s Trason Bragg has the details.
