EDINBURG – Two fires are under investigation in Edinburg.

The first fire broke out around 11 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex on the 900 block of West Orange Drive.

Edinburg Fire Chief Shawn Snider says the fire was contained to one unit.

Two people had to be taken to the hospital to be checked out for smoke inhalation.

Another fire was reported around 3 a.m. Sunday. Crews responded to the blaze at a home on the 1400 block of North Jackson Road.

No one was hurt in the second incident.
