SAN BENITO - Police are responding to a a deadly shooting on Buena Vida Street in San Benito.

Authorities say one male victim was shot and later died at a local hospital.

Police Chief Michael Galvan says the man was hit just after 7:15 p.m.

Police are still searching for suspects involved; several people have been detained for questioning.
