BPUB: Water Service Interruptions to Take Place in Brownsville
UPDATE: The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announced about 200 customers will be affected on Tuesday.
There will be a water service interruption from 9 p.m. until about 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The affected areas include: Impala Drive, East 30th Street, Calle Milpa Verde, Delta Drive, East Avenue, East University Boulevard, Carolina Street, Elena Street, Tampico Street, Dana Street and Jessica Street.
BROWNSVILLE – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board announced several water service interruptions will be taking place in the next few days.
On Wednesday, crews will replace water values in the areas near La Plaza Drive and Taxco Drive until 6 p.m.
On Thursday, April 26 repairs will continue in the areas near La Posada Drive and Alameda Drive.
The water will be shut off in those areas from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m Friday.
On Monday, April 30, crews will be repairing an 8-inch and two 4-inch water valves around Boca Chica Blvd. and Central Blvd.
The following day, residents living along University Boulevard, Impala Drive, E. 30th St. and Calle Milpa Verde will experience interruptions due to ongoing repairs.
The water will be shut off in that area from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following day on both days.
