Cameron County voters can use any of 59 polling sites on Election Day
Cameron County, TX (KRGV) — Cameron County voters can cast their ballots at any of the county's 59 polling locations Tuesday, according to Cameron County Elections Administrator Remi Garza.
Cameron County uses countywide voting, so voters do not have to go to an assigned precinct. They will still get the correct ballot with all the races they are eligible to vote in.
“We now have what's called ballot on demand. And so when we check you into the polling location, it identifies the specific precinct and the specific ballot style that you're supposed to get to have all the races you're qualified for to be printed for you,” Garza said.
Election officials also recommend looking over a sample ballot before heading to the polls.
