German Shepherd in Animal Abuse Case Up for Adoption

MISSION - A judge ruled to put a German shepherd  involved in an animal abuse cases up for adoption.

Police said 59-year-old Mario Cardona, of Mission, was captured on video dragging his dog, G2, behind a motorized scooter.

A neighbor shot the video last week and turned it over to Mission police. Cardona was arrested the following day and charged with animal cruelty.

He remains in the Hidalgo County jail on a $10,000 bond.
