HOUSTON (AP) - Mitchell Hahn totaled 18 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and Omaha picked up its third straight win with an 83-66 victory over Rice on Friday night.

Zach Jackson added 17 points and seven boards as all five starters scored in double figures for the Mavericks (6-7). JT Gibson finished with 13 points and KJ Robinson and Matt Pile scored 12 and 11, respectively. Omaha sank 33 of 63 shots (52 percent), eclipsing the 50-percent shooting mark for a fourth time this season.

Freshman Chris Mullins led the Owls (5-8) with 17 points, while Ako Adams scored 13 with seven assists. Jack Williams and Robert Martin both finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Omaha led 32-24 at halftime. Mullins' layup pulled Rice within 45-43 with 13:50 left to play, but Hahn and Gibson combined to score every point in a 9-1 run and the Mavericks stayed comfortably in front from there.
