Harlingen Police Working to ID Burglary Suspect

HARLINGEN – Police released images from surveillance video to help identify a burglar in Harlingen. The crime happened at Small Fry’s Pharmacy early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a burglar alarm activated at the business on the 300 block of South 21st Street. They found a window near the entrance was shattered. Surveillance video showed a man shot out the window with a BB gun, entered the pharmacy and rummaged the counter area. He left on foot toward East Tyler Avenue.

The man in the video has tattoos on his arms and left leg. He has dark hair, a beard and a birthmark or large mole on the left side of his face. In the video, he’s wearing a red shirt with an image of the Virgin Mary, shorts and sandals. He was carrying a BB gun and a backpack.
