Lions Park in La Joya has a brand new paved walking trail
La Joya, TX (KRGV) — A walking trail at Lions Park in La Joya has a new asphalt surface after crews finished the upgrade.
La Joya funded the project while Hidalgo County Precinct 3 oversaw the work.
"Making sure we can provide a better walking trail for the health of our community and for the children to come play safely, especially our seniors," Hidalgo County Precinct 3 Commissioner Everardo Villarreal said.
The project cost about $119,000.
