The McAllen Police Department is seeking the public's help finding two women they identified as suspects in a string of retail thefts and unauthorized credit card transactions at several stores in McAllen.

A news release from the department identified the two suspects as 46-year-old Elisa Yvette Colombel and 38-year-old Cindy Thalia Ramirez.

According to police, the women are suspected in thefts reported at various retail stores in McAllen between July 30 and Aug. 23. The theft investigations led to a related report made on Aug. 23 of “unauthorized credit card transactions from several retail locations in North McAllen.”

Colombel faces five counts of theft and 10 counts of credit card abuse. She is described as having a height of 5 feet and 2 inches, weighing around 110 pounds, and having brown hair and brown eyes. Her last known address is in Mission.

Ramirez faces one count of theft, four counts of credit card abuse, and two counts of organized retail theft. She is described as having a height of 5 feet and 1 inch, weighing around 280 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her last known address is in McAllen.
