WESLACO – The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a new office to make it easier to access medical records.

The Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization is staffed with IT experts who will be in charge of transferring all of the VA’s available health records into one database.

The program is part of a larger effort to make the VA health care program more efficient.
