Palmview police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed multiple times at a home on Milagro Lane.

Police Chief Jose Trevino said officers responded to the 1000 block of Milagro Lane Thursday night and found a man with multiple stab wounds to the torso. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

Trevino identified the suspect as Heriberto Cazares. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black pants and may be carrying a backpack. Cazares is believed to be homeless.

The stabbing happened between two people who knew each other and that there is no danger to the general public, according to Trevino.
