SpaceX activity at Starbase this week from LabPadre
Crews at Starbase kept building Booster 24 and Ships 42 and 44 during launch week, according to LabPadre.
About 1 hour after Ship 41 splashed down in the Pacific, crews moved the latest Super Heavy's common dome section from Starfactory to stack it with the liquid oxygen tank section brought over last week. Less than 48 hours later, crews moved the next section of the liquid oxygen tank over for stacking with the tank's upper sections.
Less than 36 hours later, crews moved another section of the latest Super Heavy from Starfactory to Mega Bay 1 for stacking. Barely 24 hours later, crews moved the fifth section of Booster 24's liquid oxygen tank to Mega Bay 1.
In Mega Bay 2, crews took both sea level and vacuum engines out of the building on Wednesday after removing them from the Flight 15 Starship, according to LabPadre. According to LabPadre, the move seems likely to be a sign of progress after Raptor reliability problems on Flight 14
According to LabPadre, the engine removal seems to indicate SpaceX identified potential remedies for the engine out issues and removed the engines to implement fixes before the next mission. On Thursday evening, crews brought Ship 44's common dome section out of Starfactory and into Mega Bay 2 to join it with the rocket's previously stacked upper section.
At the Massey Outpost on Thursday, the S43.1 test article underwent a fourth round of cryogenic testing at the structural testing station. The next afternoon, workers installed a fan on top of the last new vaporizer at the site.
Later that evening, SpaceX put S43.1 through a fifth round of cryogenic testing.
