Texas Governor Democratic Nominee Gina Hinojosa campaigned in McAllen on Monday.

Hinojosa will be on the ballot in November. She is running against incumbent Governor Greg Abbott.

Gov. Abbott is scheduled to arrive in Harlingen on Tuesday, Sept. 15, to award $5.8 million in grants to the Texas Veterans Commission.
