Toddler Found Unharmed with 4 Dead at Edinburg Apartment
EDINBURG – Authorities are investigating a multiple homicide at an apartment in Edinburg.
Edinburg police received a 9-1-1 call at 6:49 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a woman found dead at a complex located on the 300 block of West Kuhn Street.
Police Chief Cesar Torres says officers discovered four adults deceased, two females and two males, with possible gunshot wounds along with a male toddler, who was found unharmed.
Investigators were able to verify, the two women found dead are mother and daughter. One of the males is believed to be the boyfriend of one of the females; the other male believed to be a home provider.
Torres assures the case is not related to the homicide that occurred on Russell Road. He added the toddler is being monitored and is in safe hands.
At the moment, authorities are trying to determine if the incident is a murder or a murder-suicide.
The identities of those found dead is being withheld until officials have notified the next of kin.
