Brooks County, TX (KRGV) — Texas Department of Transportation announced crews have closed U.S. 281 north of Falfurrias until further notice due to flooding.

Northbound traffic on U.S. 281 will be diverted to State Highway 285 and northbound U.S. 77. Drivers can use State Highway 141 in Kingsville to merge back onto U.S. 281.

Southbound traffic north of Falfurrias will head east on State Highway 141 to U.S. 77 and then U.S. 285 to merge back onto southbound U.S. 281.
