PHARR – A Rio Grande Valley family is asking for the community’s help to find their missing son.

Alden Ivan Cantu, 24, went missing on Thanksgiving Day.

He was dropped off at a friend’s house and then taken to the Copa Hotel in the morning of Nov. 22.

KRGV’s Valerie Gonzalez spoke with his mother about the matter.

She said she became worried after he missed Thanksgiving dinner.

“At that point I freaked out. He doesn't have a wallet. He doesn't have his phone, and I went to the police,” said Jessica Cantu.

She says her son has attention deficit disorder (ADD) and is considered to be bipolar.

Pharr police say they are conducting an investigation.
