EDINBURG – A Rio Grande Valley man will spend 65 years behind bars for three counts of sexual abuse of a child.

Last week, a jury found 34-year-old Francisco Ezequiel Lopez of Pharr guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.

The child involved was 10 to 11 years of age at the time of the attacks.
