Victims of Western Union Scheme May Be Eligible for Refund
UPDATE (5/22): The deadline for Western Union fraud victims is quickly approaching.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says if you made a wire transfer through Western Union between January 1, 2014 and January 19, 2017, you may be eligible for funds from the settlement.
You must have supporting documentation for your claims and fill out a remission form at the website.

WESLACO – Those who were victims of a Western Union scheme may be eligible for a refund.
The company must pay $586 million in refunds as part of a settlement.
About 39,000 Texans may be eligible.
