Weslaco Plans for Neighborhood Sweep Program
WESLACO – The city of Weslaco is planning a neighborhood sweep program.
The city wants residents to get rid of unwanted furniture or appliances, such as washers and dryers or water heaters.
Weslaco’s code enforcement will set up trash bins in selected neighborhoods.
The health department’s spokesman says they will be passing out notices to residents of the bins the day before they’re dropped off.
