3 Men Charged in Fatal Donna Stabbing
DONNA – Authorities are searching for the fourth suspect linked to a stabbing in rural Donna.
The trio went before a judge Tuesday afternoon. Police said 26-year-old Francisco Hernandez, 23-year-old Augustin Mendoza and 33-year-old Lenin Gonzalez were charged with murder.
Javier Olvera, 22, was found stabbed around 10:00 p.m. Sunday near the 6000 block of Victoria Road. He later died from his injuries.
Hernandez, of Donna, received a bond of $1 million.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s investigators believe an argument over money led to the stabbing.
