Border Fest Announces Nation to be Celebrated and Entertainment
HIDALGO – For more than 40 years, the Rio Grande Valley has embraced a friendship with its Mexican friends across the river.
Border Fest is a symbol of culture, traditions and fostering relationships.
Every year a country is selected to be celebrated, highlighting its customs, heritage, music and food.
On Friday, the announcement was made that the festival will pay homage to India, home to over 1 billion people, 22 different languages and countless breathtaking tombs and temples.
