CBP Seizes more than 1K Pounds of Marijuana
PHARR – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers discovered more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana hidden in a commercial trailer at the Pharr port of entry.
During a secondary inspection at the Pharr International Bridge, officers found 500 packages of the drug in the trailer.
The drug load is estimated to have a street value of more than $226,000.
DHS said the case is under investigation.
