City of Donna Using Seized Drug Money to Demolish Abandoned Homes

DONNA- City officials are working to clean up abandoned homes by putting bad money to good use.

They're using money seized from drug investigations for the projects.

Donna Police Chief, Gilbert Guerrero tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS, abandoned homes aren't only an eyesore, but they also harbor illegal activity.

CHANNEL 5'S Cecilia Gutierrez spoke to him about the city's plans.
