One Death Confirmed in Morning Accident in Edinburg

EDINBURG - Authorities are investigating a two vehicle accident that happened Sunday morning.
The crash happened just after 6 a.m. on 69C or Expressway 281 near Trenton Road, according to Lt. Oscar Trevino with the Edinburg Police Department.
As of Sunday morning, one person died in the crash, according to Trevino.
Police have not confirmed any other injuries.
As of 10 a.m. several lanes of 69C were closed to traffic.
