Weslaco Police Officer Charged with Burglary of Habitation
WESLACO – A Weslaco police officer is finding herself in the wrong side of the law.
Liliana Campos, 27, is charged with burglary of habitation to commit an assault. The charge is a felony.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS reached out to Weslaco Police Chief Stephen Mayer. He responded to our request with the following statement:
Mayer said the officer was placed on administrative leave.
