McAllen Aggravated Robbery Suspect Arraigned

UPDATE (5/25): McAllen police arrested a robbery suspect on Tuesday.

Twenty-one-year-old Leyshawn Villanueva, of Mercedes, was charged Thursday with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated assault.

Police were called to a home on the 2300 block of W. Lindberg Ave. in McAllen last week in response to a burglary.

Villanueva was given a $200,000 bond on each charge.

MCALLEN – McAllen police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect.

The man is wanted for burglary of habitation with intent to commit a robbery.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 20 years old with a slim build. Officers released a composite sketch of the subject.
