UPDATE (7/8): Officials have arrested the man, dubbed the "selfie bandit", on burglary charges.

Weslaco police say 54-year-old Peidra Lucio Brigido was arrested.

Brigido has an active burglary of vehicle warrant.

WESLACO – Weslaco police are looking for a suspect responsible for several burglaries.

Police released this picture of the man.

Investigators obtained the photo after police say he accidentally photographed himself with a victim’s phone.
