McAllen Road Closure Takes Effect This Weekend
MCALLEN – A street closure in McAllen will last for a year, says the Texas Department of Transportation.
The overpass in Bicentennial Boulevard will close Sunday at 7 p.m., between Jackson and Savannah avenues.
TxDOT tells us they’re preparing the bridge for demolition.
Drivers are encouraged to take three alternate routes to avoid delays: Main Street, 23rd Street or 2nd Street.
