Progreso Residents Ask for Permanent Fix to Uneven Road
PROGRESO – New roadwork is underway in a Progreso neighborhood.
Homeowners there told CHANNEL 5 NEWS it's long overdue, but it's only a temporary fix.
The road leading to the subdivision looks smooth, but once you turn the corner, the dips and mud make a bumpy ride and black patches are spotted on this roadway, as well as Progreso city workers.
Homeowner Manuel Mirola has asked for years when are they going to fix it permanently.
We found out from Progreso City Clerk Raul Garcia change is coming soon for Mirola and his neighbors.
