Raymondville Pet Owner Fighting to Get Dog That was Adopted by Another Family Back
RAYMONDVILLE – A dog owner is fighting to get his furry friend back home. He claims the city's animal control put his dog up for adoption before giving him a chance to claim him.
The Perez family rescued their dog Snowflake from the June floods.
"You know if you'd ask me, he's my boy," says Hector Perez.
On the Friday before Thanksgiving, Snowflake got loose and didn't come back.
His family thought their dog was gone, but what they didn't expect, was Snowflake had been adopted by another family.
