UTRGV Students, Staff Seeking Answers after Late Closure
EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley decided to cancel classes on Thursday after the Edinburg campus flooded.
Many students and employees, however, were left stranded wondering why they weren’t notified sooner.
Victor Yanez, an academic advisor, says he wasn’t notified until around noon. He says by then, water had reached the inside of his car.
UTRGV tells us they didn’t anticipate this much rainfall for today.
