RIO GRANDE CITY – A sting operation led to nearly a dozen arrests in Starr County.

Investigators with the Starr County Special Crimes Unit were targeting those selling alcohol to minors.

Ten employees were arrested after authorities checked 49 establishments. They now face jail time and a fine.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is working to find out if the establishments will be held responsible.
