NEAR BROWNSVILLE - Annova LNG says it will reapply for a permit it needs to operate a liquefied natural gas export facility in the Rio Grande Valley. 

Several companies are petitioning to get approval for LNG export sites in the Brownsville ship channel. 

In a letter, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Annova exceeded a deadline to submit paperwork on its plans.
