NEAR BROWNSVILLE – Cameron County authorities will continue to spray for mosquitoes Monday evening.

Environmental health administrator Gus Olivares expects the mosquito problems to continue for the coming days.

Crews already sprayed in Santa Rosa over the weekend and will continue throughout the county until it is under control.

Residents are advised to remove any standing water and keep the grass short to prevent mosquitoes from increasing.
