Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen is hosting its annual Hummingbird Morning program on Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The event falls during the peak of Ruby-throated Hummingbird migration season in September. Admission is $5.

Visitors can join guided bird walks and take part in educational activities during the morning program. Experts from Wild Birds Unlimited and Quinta Mazatlan staff will be on hand to discuss hummingbirds and how to attract them.

Market vendors will also be at the event selling native plants, bird feeding supplies, and other food and wares.
