A Rio Grande City man accused of fatally shooting his neighbor in June has pleaded not guilty to murder.

The shooting occurred at the intersection of San Benito and Avasolo streets in Rio Grande City.

As previously reported, Falcon told responding officers he and Estrada were arguing when Falcon went inside his residence to retrieve a handgun and shot Estrada multiple times.

Falcon called law enforcement to report the shooting, and Estrada was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.
