A small Cessna 150 aircraft made an emergency landing in a field near Weslaco, according to Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra.

Guerra posted about the landing on X. He said the landing happened around 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of Mile 13 1/2 and Mile 6 West.

The male pilot was not injured, and no other injuries were reported. The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
