HARLINGEN – The VA clinics serving the Rio Grande Valley changed leadership this week.

As of Monday, the director, Joe Perez, was reassigned. He will now oversee projects of the Network Office.

For now, VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System is under interim director Michael Ojeda.

Employee town hall meetings are being held throughout the week to talk about the changes affecting offices from Laredo to Corpus Christi.
