City of McAllen Requesting Funding to Help with Immigration Surge
MCALLEN- City officials are asking for help to offset the cost of caring for immigrants.
City Manager, Roel Rodriguez tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS his office is in contact with Senator John Cornyn and Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, in addition to state legislators.
CHANNEL 5's Frank McCaffrey asked Rodriguez where he thinks the funding should go.
