FALFURRIAS – A failed smuggling attempt at the Falfurrias Checkpoint led to an unusual seizure.

A K-9 unit alerted agents to something unusual about the EMS vehicle so it was referred for a secondary inspection.   

Instead of stopping, the driver sped off and agents chased after the vehicle.

The driver and three passengers, who were in the country illegally, were taken into custody.
