WESLACO – A Pharr man will be spending nearly two years in prison in connection with an insurance fraud case.

Oscar Elizondo pled guilty in 2017 to his involvement in defrauding insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Along with the prison time, Elizondo must pay restitution to the company.
