WESLACO - Knapp Medical Center will be checking car seats for free this Thursday, May 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Weslaco.

The free car seat check will be held in the parking lot near the Knapp Medical Center outpatient entrance (on James Street at E. 7th Street, near the yellow-colored entrance to the hospital).

Child safety technicians will check car seats for damage, defects, manufacturer's recalls and proper fit in the vehicle.
