Harlingen and La Feria firefighters are battling a structure fire near Glenn Way Drive and Bass Boulevard in Harlingen, according to the Cameron County Constable Precinct 5 office.

Emergency crews are on scene working to get the fire under control, the precinct office said in a social media post published Wednesday afternoon.

The Cameron County Constable Precinct 5 office is asking people to avoid the area and use alternate routes to give emergency crews room to work.
