PHARR – No new details have been released following an overnight standoff in Pharr.

Multiple agencies responded to a home near Cherokee Avenue and South Sugar Road Sunday night.

A neighbor in the area told CHANNEL 5 NEWS the standoff began around 10 p.m. and wrapped up early Monday morning.

Police and EMS units, firefighters, including a SWAT team were at the scene.

It’s unknown if anyone was hurt during the standoff with law enforcement or if someone was taken into custody.

Pharr police have released no additional details about the case.
