LAREDO – Police discovered the remains of a toddler hidden in a five-gallon container which contained acid.

The parents are charged with tampering with a corpse and endangering a child.

The mother allegedly told authorities the toddler drowned in a bathtub, adding she was unsupervised at the time.

Four other children in the home, ages one to 11, were taken by Child Protective Service workers.
