EDINBURG – It’s the newest sports arena in the Rio Grande Valley, but its grand opening has been delayed until after June.

It will be home of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers basketball team and host other events.

There’s plenty of concession and restaurant space plus some special suites.

When finished, it will seat more than 9,300 people.
